Far Away [Drum n bass]

Here's an original I've spent a lot of time on, started it about 2 years ago, and now it's finally coming together. Let me know what you think. I'm sending it to a professional studio to get mixed, so the mix issues will be fixed :)

Heyo,

So, Kick is too weak, snare is awfull and not punchy enough. Sound design is nice, and has some good ideas. Melodies/chords are ok.

It's ok, but not mixed, there isn't much to say. If you're sending this to a pro studio for mixing, they'll have a lot of trouble and they will waste their time. Master is different. About the mix, try adding sidechain on every instrument who has low freqs, EQ everything.

It's more efficient if you do the mix, and learn how to do it than sending this to pro studio. It will cost you money, and they probably won't make it awesome because the basics are not that good.

Work on it a bit more and try to at play with the volume of the differents sounds you have, and to EQ a bit, and sidechain.

My friend works in a professional studio, so he'll be mixing it down himself for free.

Definitely enjoyed the ambient soundscapes at the beginning. Only real critique would be if I could just hear the Drum part a bit more clearly as a mastered work it should be awesome. Everything should fall into place once those drums stand out a bit more (not in any way am I an expert but I try) other than that it's great
