Riddim Dubstep WIP
« on: January 08, 2016, 09:57:25 pm »
Hey guys!, i've just started out on productions from a long term of not being able to have access to any DAW platforms but now that i can i have started a few projects to release under my name but anyways I'm quite new to this genre and came out with these two drops, which are pretty dry at the moment as well but any feedback/criticism/tips would be greatly appreciated!

Since you'e started out fresh,I can understand the quality of the work won't be as good but you need to work like a lot, like really lot before putting out music! Your track lacks that heavyness,it sounds empty. The basslines are not syncing with each other. There is no sub bass.Riddim basses are usually modulated with little bit of Phasers/Granualizers etc.You need to listen to Krimer/Phiso and see how they have perfected the tracks.Good luck

Yeah i had only started the project today and i know there is still plenty of work to be added on!

It'll be a while yet before i release anything publicly but i shall take your suggestions into mind, what can i do to make sure the basslines sync together? make automation's or?

And i'll add phasers etc into the equation once i get round to making sure everything fits

Thanks for the feedback this far, any updates on the project then i shall send to you privately/update this thread!

excited nonetheless

I can't say I know much about riddim dubstep, but I think this has some real potential. I think you do need to work a lot, but this sound design is really nice! So good job dude! Just keep playing with stuff and working!
