It sounds good! If you need help w/ SC reverb, 7 skies has a great tutorial here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hNKlQOf_-KI, but i personally prefer this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HD2ABZzjeHY. The hardest part is just messing w/ the various settings to get it just right.

« on: January 06, 2016, 02:26:10 am »Really digging this. What synths did you use?Everything is either from Spire or Serum. Piano and strings are from logic. The main super saw is just 1 Serum JP8K super saw, 1 Spire super saw, 1 Spire subby bass, layered and combined with EQ and compression, side chain compression for reverb.
This sounds really good. I love the chord progression you were using, and the percussions are really well made, as well. I would have the bass play more than just simultaneously to the lead chords, though.Absolutely, bass lines are not my strong suit, still learning and working on that part.

I feel like it needs more groove during the intro, w/ some more variety but not really sure how to achieve that. I started with the break and am trying to piece the song around it, so you can her how that part seems more developed than the rest. Any advice on the drop would be appreciated, I'm having difficulty breaking out of that typical super saw chord progression and want to work in the melody.

You have a great melody / lead going, super catchy! I think some new bass elements along with some drum fills would really bring it together. Another way to liven up your mix is to layer in some more synths w/ the chord elements. Cross compression can help to reduce mixing of some elements.
