Finished Tracks / Re: nickbrainard - symbiote [ft. tina sardo]
« on: January 07, 2016, 10:16:17 pm »
I really like the track.  Unfortunately I don´t think the vocals are adding to it.  I found it hard to figure out the lyrics, and what I did catch made no sense. I don´t know if it takes away from the song if the title is not in the lyrics, as it´s really hard to make something that makes good sense around the word symbiote IMHO.  The vocals needs to be more in front, so you should probably duck the volume of the lead(s) a couple dB.

Cool track.
I really can´t tell what it is supposed to be genre wise.  I really love the elements, but I think that if you decided on either making it a chill track or maybe even a broken beats track, it could be great.  Pick one and commit

Very nice.
I have some input. It feels like you're inserting a second break into the first at 1:40, maybe save this to use later in the track ( suggest around 3:37)?  The way out of the break first needs some more ooomf. Snareroll(cliché) maybe. Otherwise I think it´s really good. Good luck with it. :)

I sometimes use Maschine as a DAW, and ALS referred to Ableton Live Suite. Sorry if it didn´t make sense at first.

I use "the gentleman" from NI, but I´m not sure if it´s available still.  Couldn´t find it when browsing on their site. Maybe I missed it.

No, it was text-to-voice I was wondering about.  But thanks anyways :)

Thanks a lot! I´m gonna check this out later. The google trick has been tried, but it is usually no better than what already exists in OS X.  I have been buying readings on fiverr, but it is a bit of hit´n´miss game.

Nothing :o

I can´t choose one. I am currently playing around with Maschine, FL, and ALS, all at once.  It really depends what I am trying to do.

I have tried to search to find a good voice synth for a while, but most require assembling( on mac) and I have no clue as to how to do that.  Are there any ready-to-go voice synths(txt to speak) that are reasonable/free and good?
