I've been thinking about this a long time and it really bugs me, how can you get objective when you listen to your work?
I mean in one hand you can be super nice with yourself, you can have a pretty generic song/melody, whatever, and think "Wow this is so good"
But in the other hand you can be super harsh and overthink everything and even if you love something in your song you may think "This is simple af, super easy"
How can you get to the objective side?
It scares me how, for me a song can be the dopest shit ever (Like this ) and think "wow if i had made this, i would be so fucking proud of what i am and do", but maybe his actual maker is thinking "meh it's kinda good I guess"
Or maybe it can be some generic shit, and be thinking "I'm the best producer ever"
I don't know if i'm crazy or im the only one who thinks like this, please share me your experience or tips to listen to your own productions objectively
