Heyy, I've been wondering for a while a now, if i change my system from windows 7 to windows 10 would that affect my DAW or any plugin compatibility or it should be ok?

Yeah, I kinda thought about that, but the initial texture of the sound is what get that feeling, maybe an envelope for the volume would help?

Fruity Slicer and Slicex are very good options, unfortunately I don't know if they work for Cubase since they are Native plugins

I normally make 2 or 3 layers, and I usually gave them their own space in an octave then I cut all the innecesary low end, and do some EQing depending on the characteristics of the layers and depending on how I want that particular supersaw to sound (very detuned, crisp and distorted, flat) and finally I do some compression to tight up the layers, little bit of saturation/distortion and some adjustments on the 200-500Hz area.

That's how I usually do it, but I would love to hear different aproaches on this, since most of the sounds are based on saws/supersaws.

You don't EQ it at all?, correct me if I'm mistaken but from what I've learned it is better to EQ in the master because you can get rid of frequencies that are below 20Hz and maybe to adjust the high end a little bit, or you could just have an incredible mix.

Also, the harmonic filling process that you are talking about its like saturation/colouring? or they are different things?, sometimes terminology isn't very friendly to be honest

How does this "everything under 150Hz has to be mono" works, I mean, how do you turn something that has a very wide stereo image into mono?, the kick and the bass for example; how do you know those low frequencies are in mono? and how do you make them mono if they are not?, and what are the benefits for having them that way.

Maybe I'm asking a lot of things but this particular issue is having me troubled and intrigued.
