Overall my biggest point would just be fleshing out more groove elements of it. It's totally a passable DJ track as it is but I would probably be mixing something over it the whole time. Check out some of these examples that came to mind:

Just listen to how seemingly minimal yet super fleshed out they sound, I think that's the type of vibe you should be going for with this. 100% needs a snare at some point (I was dying waiting for it to come in lol)

Hope that helps! Great work dude keep it up!

mid-song tempo transition is fine, but I really think you gotta give it some more time. More specifically, letting that crash ring out and giving your audience a chance to 'reset'. Always try to think about it from the standpoint of someone who's never heard it before. Try making it feel like the ending and the beginning of a new movement. The pause could be a cool spot to drop a vocal acapella part that crashes into the up-tempo version of the song.

Mix improvements are a given, but tighten up that arrangement first! Nice work overall.

even the best headphones fatigue my ears like crazy over time. I spend a lot of time (probably too much) on mixes and using headphones always has me changing the mix constantly throughout the session.

I'll literally mix on apple ear buds and a subpac if I need something quick.

I've heard this apple bud anecdote a lot and i'm tempted to try (and i mean even then, they're not bad quality headphones, they actually sound decent to me). What about us folks who don't have subpacs?

tangent: this is so cool that i'm seeing tons of names i recognize and producers that actually know what they're doing.

I think for me it's just about doing mixes on headphones that I listen to all my other music on. They may not be the best in terms of quality, but I know exactly how hard kicks feel in them, I know exactly what all my other fav producers stuff sounds like in them etc. etc., so I sort of just try to use my ear memory and do the mix naturally.

Also, I highly recommend looking into a subpac, even with monitors. It's really changed the game for me from a home studio perspective. I can't tell you how many times I've come back working on something on a plane or whatever and thinking it's amazing and then realizing how fucking awful and muddy the low end was. I promise I don't work for subpac, it's just an amazing product :D

Oh and I would hardly say I know what I'm doing, I just think I've found a way to make it work for me ;P
