Donwloaded a random free pack on sampleradar and picked a crash because this is a realy good example. Very long tail so you can hear clearly the hiss come through in the end. Some samples are less 'hissing' some are good and clean. Same for all the rest.

I'm talking about all the samples from the vengeance packs or probably any other free pack. For example a crash....when the crash sound is over you hear the rest of the length of the sample a hiss sometimes quiter than others depending wich pack it is. It is visualy not noticable in the waveform but if you set your region over the "still part" you hear a hiss

I was wondering since I have good equipment now (even without my good studio monitors) I hear almost always a background white noise when the hits end. Is it just a matter of quality samples or is it normal and you just have to edit (fade,eq,denoise plugin, noise gate) them because the not so big amount of the standard samples with logic don't have that noise. I have a pack of loopmasters and thought they should be without noise, unfortunately. I think most people don't notice but right now i'm trying to get professional.  For the hats, snares, claps I know there can be noise from the surroundings but with pure electronic kicks??
