I never force myself to produce. I've been doing this for 5 years as a serious hobby, and if I've learned anything, it's that inspiration is a bitch. It will usually strike me at the most inconvenient times (i.e; in the middle of my work day when I can't jump on an idea....technically ). If I get an idea but can't act on it, I'll just write down the notes on my notepad and work on the idea later. If I have time and feel like producing, I'll do it, and usually get pretty far. But there are definitely days where I'm just not feeling it, and if I do produce, it usually shows. Just produce on your own schedule, I think most of us have that type of luxury, so enjoy it.
