Hey guys, it's been a while since I posted anything new.  I've been working on a couple of different styles over the past few months.  This track I wanted to create a techno track that features a sample from  Newton N. Minow's speech about television. I figured a speech about vast wasteland and techno went hand in hand. Hope you guys enjoy it.

Awesome track I love the dark, but funky vibe to it.  Keep up the good work.

Hey guys...I wanted to create a song that had an old school deep house vibe, but with a little bit of funk to it.  I used a vocal sample from Chain of fools.  As always any tips and constructive criticism are greatly appreciated.

I listen to a little bit of everything, but certain genres and artists inspire me when I am uninspired.
The Gorillaz are one of my all time favorite. Disco and everything producer from Neptunes and Timbaland help me a lot too. I make a lot of house tech house and techno so listening to music with funky bass lines help me out when I'm uninspired.  Technically some of those genres use electronic elements so it's different enough, but use similar elements.

Thanks for the response.  I just got a few new Waves plugins so I gotta try them out for my next track.

Thank you for the compliments and the advice. I think one problem I've had with techno vs other genres is the feeling of "dirtiness".  Other genres try and get a clean mix and techno thrives on being dirtier.  I just have a problem feeling when it's finished because I want to keep adjusting the mix.

I created this track a few months ago. I was pretty happy with the final version and even got some compliments on some other platforms.  However, I recently got Traktor s5 and when playing in it in a mix, I noticed it was not as clean of a mixdown as other tracks I was playing.  Any comments and tips are greatly appreciated. Thank you and I hope you enjoy it.

Loved it man. Good to see some of the darker side of electronic music being posted on here.  I wasn't sure any techno was going to be posted on the forum.   The synths worked really well with the song, which can be difficult IMO with techno.  The tension and release was probably my favorite aspect of the track.  I definitely can see this track being played in a dark club and the crowd loving it. I have no real constructive criticism other then keep up the good work.
