I feel like its a layer of some sorts with a big dimension expander or delay or something but how does it get that hollow popping feel.

So I have been trying to produce for around nearly a year now and i have improved so much in mixing and sound design wise but musically i just don't seem to move really. It makes me really annoyed because I know if i just keep going at i can get at least good mixes and sound design like im a long way off but i already understand so much but whats the point if i cant write even a simple melody. Usually i just hit random notes all i see is the professionals they just make a chord progression and just hum over it or just have melodies and ideas given in their dreams and when i try to do it i just sing the last song i heard probably not even in the same key. I'm going to ear training way harder but i just feel im just not creative enough even i love making music more anything it really messes with my head when i just feel like i dont have talent for writing melodies. idk its like i feel creative cause when i open project i have direction of what i wana make but it always generic and musically just boring and kinda wrong. I hate my subconscious for not giving me musical ideas. Can you actually write melodies or are they just given to you?

Mixing/Mastering / drowned sound

So im pretty nooby as you can tell but im really not sure how i screwed this up so bad the lead feels super drowned,
i layered it with like a pluck a super detuned saw and what i realised now is a crap lead and white noise. I eqed all of them to sit ontop of the chords/bass and compressed it only a little and but minimal reverb so im not sure where im going wrong can anyone help please?

So im really confused about melodies because when ever i watch interviews they never explain where they actually come from. The only one i've seen was martin garrix tremor which he came up with in an airport and sang it into his phone. But i don't understand are all good melodies just something that comes too you because that never happens to me anything i do is just experimentation which takes hours over weeks. Also how do those super complex melodies come to people like kshmrs(bad example) or something i don't see how it happens and I read these things like anyone can write a hit melody in their head but can't put it down and im like what i can't do that and if i could i would just record myself singing it and play it back for hours until it was the same as my paino roll.

Also is there any tips for making them more interesting because i can make melodies but they never fit into songs cause they sound boring or are too fruity.
