Playing house:

Nice mellow vibes. The sub bass isn't really overpowering but it's there, it suits the song. The mix is good! You got the song pretty loud, without noticable distortion, good job!

Maybe you can add more excitement to the song by playing more with autopanning, adding something extra to the stereo width?

Against the World:

I hear a lot more stereospread than 'Playing House'. Pretty loud mastering again without distortion but the ducking on the voice in the chorus is a bit too obvious to my taste This gives me a nice uplifting feeling, I enjoyed the listen!
Thanks for the feedback!
Against the world was just a bio track tho but thanks lol

Hey man nice track
Really liked some of the sounds you used.
However, 4 minutes of almost the same drop was pretty repetitive for me. Id suggest maybe shortening it down and adding some breaks and other variation to keep the listener interested.

Think the drop could use some more depth as you said with some detuned saws and moving basses.
Cheers

Nice remix bro. Arrangement and idea behind this track is sick.
The shine of everything is getting a bit lost to me however and everything is a bit flat imo
Nice job tho man keep workin

Holy cow man I see so much potential in this track. Everything musically about this track is very very sound. Chords are wonderful and great to listen to. Your arrangement is great as well
Your mixing however i feel could use some work. Get that kick pumping mono in the center of the mix, as well as your sub. Get those intro plucks cleaned out a tad too.
If you spend some time in ozone or maximus mastering this thing again you could have a really fantastic track here dude.

Hey bro
Nice track first of all
I think 13 minutes is a bit of a stretch however, especially for this track. Because of the vibe of this track in which youve got a pretty consistent level of energy throughout the track, it gets a little boring to listen to for 13 minutes.
However, shortened down i think this could make a pretty cool track.

I hated music as a child, and now I bask in it.

I initially played guitar to be cool and popular, and then I gave it all up because my life went down in flames and turmoil. Music was long gone.

But then again, it was never really with me, that is, until I reached rock bottom. That's when I dedicated my life to it.

I used to spend all my time doing music--12 to 16 hours a day, because there was so much to learn, so much to discover--so much magic. Then I started doing less and less, not because I lost passion, but because I needed to live my life in order to write. I learned that I ran out of things to write about, so I decided to simply live my life--sometimes in extremes, sometimes in subtle silence. Then I'd come back and write about my adventures.

I've never been happier since!
Love this

I agree its important to recognize u wont always be motivated to crank out tracks all the time. Sometimes U will, much of the time you wont. Whats important is not just wasting the time in which you are not motivated by listening to 8 bar loops. If youre not motivated, work on sound design. Make a few presets for yourself to use. You dont have to be motivated to be improving. Maybe try something new or even get to know your DAW or VSTS better, that way when you do hit that spurt of motivation, you have all the tools to get everything done efficiently and well.

Emotionally, this song is fantastic. The melodies are spot on and wonderful to listen to.
Production is spot on as well.
Only critique is that it gets a tad cluttered when those drum hits come in.
Spectacular job man!
Cheers

I think there is something sweet and special about leaving those songs in their states
Totally agree man. I feel like people stress to much about how bad their old music was and personally the worse my old music sounds, the better. Its a testament to how much ive improved. I think theres something very encouraging about that. One day Ill probably look back at the music im writing now and ask the same questions. Look forward to that

OO was a huge fan of the Mr Wonderful Lp. I myself listen to almost everything. Big hip hop fan. Alternative, like Colony House, Mumford and Sons, Ben Howard, Vance Joy, etc. Huge fan of a lot of classic rock: Pink Floyd, Beetles, Red Hot Chili Peppers. My favorite band out there would have to be the Killers. Hot Fuss was about my favorite album of all time next to Graduation by Kanye.
But yeah but about everything as long as its good music.

In the past 7 months, I've learned a lot. I'm still not where I want to be in terms of the music I make, but I still enjoy it all the same. I've gone from somewhat crappy songs with all the sounds being presets to songs I actually have fun making with some sounds being my own. For the next year or so, I want to find my sound and develop it. After that I want to start performing my songs live and meet more local producers.
Sounds sweet man.

Hey man awesome track
To me the drop feels very different than what you were building it up to be. You spent a lot of time building up with that lead melody and the drop kind of had nothing to do with it. Wouldve liked to hear it in there somewhere.
But besides that, very nice track bro
Cheers
