I produce on Yamaha HS80m in an untreated room, but I've gotten to know the Yamaha's over 5-6 years of use and I get by. But I just got the BeyerDynamic DT770 PRO for reference few days ago, and I hope to fix my lack of highs in future productions. Cheers! :)

Thanks for listening and for your input, guys! Will take the feedback in mind for the next production. I wanted this track to sound dusty and imperfect (such as the original), and in general I think I achieved it. The mix needs a little bit extra work I think now, but since I sliced up the 320kbps MP3 and worked around it (original: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FmlUBeiE6Tc), it went pretty okay.

Hey guys, my first post here. I used to visit forums a lot way back; trance.nu, Anjunabeats, tranceaddict etc. It's been over 10 years since I started producing, under different aliases though, and mostly trance. To kick off my first post here's a bootleg I finished recently, a remix of Nils Frahm's Keep from his album Felt. The original is an ambient/classical piece, my remix is progressive/deep-tech club track.
