I like this mix, it really keeps that constant balance between being heavy and weightless that the original has.
Yea, I tried to use the same type of the mix on the original track. Thank you

sounds pretty good, but if it was up to me I would try to make the drums stand out a little more.

I'll keep that in mind. Thanks

Ableton stock. It works

Really don't like that sample. It's too harsh for this kind of track.

Your kick and snare are WAY too try for the sound you are going for.

The mix sounds really squashed, like there is no room for anything.

Lastly your climax is way too short compared to the long breakdown. Also you could've just kept it at 3 minutes because you practically duplicated everything.

Alright I'll keep those in mind. Thank you.

Damn that drop hits you right in the gut lol. Great work. Mix wise, the sidechaining could be toned down a bit cause of how punchy the kick is, but that's just my opinion. Awesome stuff :)

Wow this is beautiful. You definitely captured Porters vision when it came to writing this. The melodies are so relaxing and nice. I say good job! great work on the mix :D

Haha thank you! :)

Really loving this fam! I feel it gives a new perspective on the track but keeps the essence of the original. I also really like that synth lead towards the ends of the 2nd drop. Keep it up man!
totally agree with this...feels like a porter edit of the song...and that lead at the end!! what is that? distorted guitar with some noise osc? I like the kick too :)

Yea that's exactly what it is lol. Thank you!

Seriously, this is really good but with some adjustments it could be even better.
The transition to the drop feels weird, try adding a snare hit before it comes and that guitar-like sound on the 2nd drop doesn't really work, try with a normal saw-ish solo lead with some portamento.

EDIT: you could also try this out ->add some sidechained reverb to the vocal chops in the intro/breakdown so it slowly goes up when they finish but it stops when they come back after 2-3 bars.

Alright thanks i'll give that a try!

Sounds great! The Stereo width on the chords are really nice. I would maybe duplicate the Lead in the drop, for layering, and give it more stereo width. The lead/guitar thing @ 4:02 is very nice though

Yea i actually did duplicate that lead and panned them outwards, but i couldn't get it to the point of a full stereo sound ://

Edit: I remastered the track, so there's less clipping.

Thank you! I wanted to focus on more of the melodic side of the track. I also like your track. My opinion on it is that it could have a stronger kick, but that's mostly my preference. I also wonder how you got so many views on your track lol.
