Who else is using this beauty of a service?

A lot of the sounds are beautifully processed and mixed. I've found a lot of unique samples.

The great thing is you can pick out samples individually from a huge range of sample packs, make's for some unique organic tunes.

One day I feel like i'm on top of the world writing hooks left right and centre and the next I can't even sustain a simple chord progression without giving up.


I'm not even interested in LISTENING to music as well, I just feel so burned. Is it best to just ignore it and not produce for a while all together?

It's a shitty form of writers block, how do you deal with it?

I feel like this is better suited for the Sound Design board.

Saturation and Distortion isn't something the average producer gets to learn as opposed to a compressor or EQ. Here's a nice crash course.

The first two packs sound pretty good but the rest are meh. For $1 it's not a bad deal at all though.

Samples/Plugins/Software/Gear / What is your DAW template?

I'll start. Mine's heavily based off The Pegboard Nerds template. My goal was to automate as much of the mixing process as I could to the Ableton template so that I could spend more time composing melodies etc.

Everything except keys is sent into the pre master bus. If you want more detail on the busses i'm happy to explain/show plugins etc. In general all busses have eq, transient shaping (reduction except the drum buss) and very soft compression + M/S eqing.
