I hear so many producers in the underground house scene who release tracks with vocals samples taken from other songs but without credit to the original singer in the title or credits. I know a lot of people use professional services to recreate the sample so it sounds like the original but isn't.

So my question is do a lot of producers just take samples without clearing them, put the tracks out, and then only take them down if they get asked to? If that's the case then finding samples would be a hell of a lot easier than digger through sample packs for vocals.
