So I've been having a hard time producing music lately, don't know if you should call it writers block, but I really can't come up with new melodies and chords. I know music theory, but i think my creativity is lacking. Any tips or ideas?

Pads are always a good idea to add more background sound. Even though they are mostly unnoticeable they still makes the sound more full.

I tried it but for me when i open it there is no sound and i had to install it manually, even though it says it should be installed automatically, any tips?

Whenever i start a track i never seem to come up with any chords or good melodies. Please share tips on how to write good chords and melodies.
