Samples/Plugins/Software/Gear / Final pitch of sound output from FM8/Operator/

Was wondering if anyone knew of a plugin or some piece of software that can show you the exact pitch of the sound thats being output by FM8/Operator or any sound for that matter?
I use Live, and i know that you can use spectrum to see where the frequency is hitting and can find the pitch, but when I make a silly or weird patch in fm8 and try to look thru the spectrum analyser, theres so many strong overtones and harmonics that its difficult to make out what the dominant pitch is. Makes it hard when you want to layer with a sub etc and there might be two notes that sound like they work i.e. F & F#
