Honestly, I feel it's important to your growth in sound. Keep going!

Hey there good basic arrangement. I feel that it's lacking quite a bit on the low end and your mids/highs are overpowering the kick and bass.

First off I'd try playing around with selective frequency EQing and stereo imaging to really give each of your instruments that 'oompf'.

I agree here with the basses. I would check out some tutorials on layering, it helps so much! :) Great direction

Reminds me of some old Andy Moor tbh. Has a lot of potential for BlackHole as well

Overall, it's sounding good :)

Hey thanks for the listen and the feedback :) I will def try a few things out

Cool track man, but the bass is a bit overpowering and taking away from the other elements. Maybe try pulling it back
a bit?

my mastering is an integral part of how i want my music to sound

Very true! I have been using yours & Andy Duguid's tracks as references for my mix-downs for forever now. It's def helped
in the way I view music production

I'd recommend the Dynaudio Mkiii or the Adams A7x.

Depending on what you are looking for in a monitor, After testing several monitors out at Guitar Center, I would suggest either the Dynaudio MkIII OR the Adams A7X. The Yamaha's are REALLY flat sounding and don't give you a full range of sound

Midi Keyboards & drum pads aren't necessary, BUT they do make the job easier. You wouldn't want to be building a house without a hammer would you? lol But I use the Allen & Heath Xone series headphones since 2008 and they sound GREAT! They are a bit pricey BUT they are def quality studio headphones. As for a midi Keyboard, I just went simple and purchased the Samson Carbon 49 USB midi keyboard for like $80 bucks. Works like a champ as I only use it for writing notes & chords etc. A good soundcard, a good machine, a good midi keyboard & a good pair of headphones should start you off great
