Does anything stand out in a bad way or not stand out enough? Any feedback at all is meaningful to me

Finished Tracks / Sprout - Today is anew [Lofi, Jazz, Experimental]
« on: March 19, 2016, 10:39:21 pm »
Did this one a few nights ago, was wondering what you good people thought of it. When I say I made it from scratch, you have no idea how much I mean it, there are like 0 samples or loops (that aren't recorded by me at least) in this song

Any feedback is appreciated!

Finished Tracks / Trek through the woods [Breakbeat-y]

This is a tune I made a short while ago that I plan to include as maybe the first track in a concept EP. Your thoughts, homies? The EP thing is still just an idea, not too committed to it yet.

Be Still Focus - very nice, Bibio-esque in places and fly lo. In the first half though something feels off with the mix and leads to a little dullness in the more melodic elements

Trek through the woods - very very nice

In general I like this idea of keeping songs very short and making that compelling and focused. Gave your soundcloud a follow, cant wait to hear more
Bibio is my #1 fav musician of all time... so that's like the greatest compliment I've ever received, thank you. :) Love FlyLo too.
I'll try to see if I can clean that mix up. I plan on eventually putting this series out as an EP, in which case I'll be rearranging/remixing/remastering the songs.

Finished Tracks / Sprout - Short Stories [ᴏɴɢᴏɪɴɢ sᴇʀɪᴇs]
« on: January 14, 2016, 07:57:05 pm »
Started working on a series of concept songs. Finished the second tune a few days ago, going to try to continue this series for a while:

Any feedback is welcomed :)

This is nice. Your mix down isn't pumping enough high end. It's all centered around mid-bass. Not sure if that was on purpose or not.
On purpose to an extent, but you're right, maybe I should up the high end a little. I do it so people can play my music loud without hurting their ears

Finished Tracks / Re: Porter Robinson - Divinity (Aoeris Remix)

I like this! I'd suggest though changing the transition right before the drop, and softening the main lead a little bit

Hey guys. Recently I've started a series of short concept works. I plan to add a new song to this series every week if possible. I'm going back to college tomorrow so hopefully I'll be able to keep dedicating time to this.

Let me know what you think:

Really cool man!  I dig the space you've created using the little nature sounds and bits of reverb. Keep it up!
Thanks! I aim to eventually make a concept album/EP of nature-y themed music.
