In my case I had made alot of tracks and then I put all together and for me all tracks of EP had a own story but the main theme is the story of EP for example the EP is about one person but each track is about a moment or a felling that I have with that person

I like how all the music elements work well together maybe if you don't use the same rhythm and don't use the same synth in all your track that could sound better :)
