FL and bitwig are pretty similiar in workflow. I use FL but if I would want to switch for whatever reason I probably would take something that has a different workflow.

WIPs / Re: What are your thoughts of the mix?
« on: January 06, 2016, 09:14:53 pm »
I don't really hear anything bad about the mix, there aren't a lot of elements in it to clash with eachother. When more things are added it might need some equalizing to make space.

WIPs / Nu World | Almost done (Bass House)
« on: January 06, 2016, 09:08:45 pm »
This track is getting close to done. it's a bass house track (my first bass house) inspired by Deep Down Low. Any feedback would be appreciated regarding the mix and composition.

Thanks!

Mixing/Mastering / Re: Tell us your master chain!
« on: January 06, 2016, 09:02:01 pm »
EQ -> Multiband Compressor -> Limiter (Not really ever used)

This is my preffered chain if I'm not letting someone else do the mastering. Everything goes in to the master chain at -6db then I basically just lower some frequencies that sounds bad, compress everything and make up the gain.

Mausynth is terrific, I really like its sound. It's a "polyphonic analog-modeling subtractive synthesizer". Great for progressive/deep house

Sytrus hands down. You can do anything with 6 oscillators and FM/RM.

Really nice! Sounds a little like Mord Fustang with some extra energy.

To me, creativity and making a track "fun" is all about breaking the rules. To break the rules you need to know them.

Or you could be like Einstein and create your own rules to break, I guess... But that's a pretty hard thing to do. There has only been one Einstein in like 200 years after all.
