mix sounds clean and fairly even on macbook speakers. nice work brah. the cymbals during the drop might be a tad bit loud, imo

Thanks man. Yeah the vinyl crackle is on purpose. I find that it fills out the empty space nicely, makes it warmer, in comparison to having no crackle. I tried to make it sound very similar to the track I was referencing. Thanks for your feedback!

pretty cool for a first song. for critique I'd say, probably use auto-tune for vocals. your wife has a nice sounding voice but it sounds like she's off key for a few notes. maybe pull back on the verb a bit, and EQ her voice for sure.

very chill. the synth in the beginning sounds a little out of place to my ears, but the second synth that comes in sounds great

yeah, on my macbook they sounded harsh, on my headphones they didn't sound too harsh. Usually macbook speakers are pretty good though (despite having barely any bass response) so I'll look into that, thanks man
