generally in sample packs when things are straight up major scales they are labelled F but if it's minor they 9/10 times label it with (min) after the letter

i urge you all to try out DSP Nightshine http://www.discodsp.com/nightshine/ it offers a really great 80s style compression to all snares and kicks, like those really clicky/snappy attack transients, i literally use it on every single drum channel ever bc its so so so good at controlling transients - great for creating those justice/sebastiAn type ed banger snares!

honestly i'm kind of against the whole concept - it's a good market for producers with good knowledge of how the industry works and whatnot

OTT your main chord stack/ distort them to taste with fabfilter saturn

the synths playing chord notes could be raised in level/made stereo.

if you're using nexus the LD angel one preset is airy enough to occupy your mid-top end. space it with valhallaverb.

you could definitely flesh out a more interesting bassline with regards to midi -  try going up an octave with portamento in the last 1/4 of each bar.

don't underestimate using a distorted saw bass instead. it adds meat to the mix

although OTT is very efficient and fast/intuitive - i think manual multiband compression is a more effective and precise method for controlling lead sounds, for example fabfilter pro-mb is very surgical and even allows upwards multiband compression

i have fruity soft clipper on the master and a drums, synth and FX bus all set up (with a sidechain channel immediately linked to the synth bus just for quick purposes, i do in the end product sidechain each channel differently though)

this is an extremely good idea bc i met a lot of producer friends in the early days (2009-2011) on forums through collaborations

I just select both WAV and MP3 in the render settings on FL Studio. Usually does a good job at it.

this isn't an option in ableton though! ableton only allows lossless formats

Destroy FX "Buffer Override"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBhMytf921I

this plugin emulates the sound of when your daw gives up on life and (as you call it) Fucks Shit Up lmao - perfect for glitchy sounds

what a flattering thread !

shadient sounds come from random doodles in sytrus and massive and i then fuck with a recorded sample of that sound (fx, timestretch, pitching algorithms, etc)

hope this helps!
