I think its some kind of square wave with lots of sub in these tracks but I'm not quite sure how I go about achieving a similar sound

If you can afford it I would recommend checking out syntorial, it's what really helped me get into producing and over the overwhelming curve of where to start.

A great interface for headphones and monitors is the Steinberg UR12

it's arguably better than the Focusrite you listed and cheaper

Bookmark the page, download a pack at a time.

See if it's a pack you wanna integrate into your sample collection/ workflow.

If no get rid of it and download the next one
