Pretty much as you just described. Route the sounds you'd like affected to the Mixer track with the FX on it, and then un-link it from the Master, so all it's audio is processed through the FX buss to the Master track. You can control many sounds with one plugin/automation clip this way.

thanks mane. i'm gonna assume you're familiar with FL. question: is there a limit to the number of audio clips you can route to a single mixer channel?

hey. so i've been using ableton for a while and am now trying to get a hang of FL.

one thing i loved about ableton is how i was able to put an fx chain on an individual track in the playlist. that's obviously not the case in FL, and i can't even route an entire playlist track to a mixer channel. that's quite a bummer if i want a lopass/hipass or reverb track where i can easily drop whatever audio clips in and it'll process through. what's a good workaround in FL? should i just assign individual audio clips to their own mixer channels and then route those channels to a send channel where i have an fx chain?

enlighten me please

Hey I need some airy, loud, beautiful trance samples (esp explosions and risers) can anyone point me to anything that's not a $50 loopmasters pack? I'm getting a bit tired of using vengeance lol
