- Levels are definitely a bit off, drums especially. They sit too quiet in the mix.
- Said it before but I'm still not a fan of that clap/snare to be honest.
- Part at 1:18 could use a heavier and more prominent sidechain since the kick feels weak. It might help to have the kick fit in the mix a bit more.
- I think the reverb is a bit too heavy. Everything sort of feels "washy" because of the really thick reverb, it really holds back some parts like the piano and vocals from shining through.
- 0:56 sounds like my old house telephone. Really threw me off haha.

Bridging in FL really doesn't use up that much CPU compared to native 64bit plugins. It's something like ~1-2% of overhead per plugin according to the manual. I would say stability is probably a bigger determining factor. Still, it's often a much better alternative to use fruity balance while being able to active tweak mixer channels than it is to not use it for the tradeoff of using marginally less CPU.

I'm a bit surprised to see that people are using so many plugins on their master channels. Is there a specific reason you apply more effects to the master instead of doing it inside the mix somewhere or does it not matter?

I've noticed it too that there are quite a few people who tend to break a lot of the traditional 'rules' about throwing plugins on the master chain. I'm guilty of it as well. I like being able to master while I mix if I'm doing it myself rather than treating it as two separate processes.
