After seeing the Overwatch animated short "Alive" (www.youtube.com/watch?v=U130wnpi-C0), I was instantly inspired to start a track incorporating Widowmaker's lines. It took me a few weeks, and here's the result.

"Eat My CPU" is a small collection of tracks that damn near tore my PC to pieces. Seeing as I could no longer risk working on them, I settled for what I had hence why they're not as polished as they could be.

Stereo tool plugins are absolutely not cheating and depending on what synth or source of audio you're using, can be 100% necessary to achieve the kind of sound you want.
I personally have tried Flux Stereo Tool before and didn't find it to be what I wanted, finding better results in Ozone and stock FL plugins.

The feels. I'll feel good like 1-2 days a week and the rest are just me thinking about how even if my music took off I still wouldn't be satisfied with it.

3+ years in and it's still hard not to take criticism personally. Slowly getting to the point where it motivates me to keep working at it though.

I write everything down in a physical notebook because it just helps it stick in my head, but I've been lazy recently and just started accumulating notes on my laptop that need to be written, so I think I'm gonna have to start a master document and abandon the physical notebook strategy. It sucks for finding shit anyway.

One thing that happens when I try to make growl basses is that they tend to either sound muddy or watery when I try to add movement to them. Any tips for avoiding this?

I watched The Making of: Still Don't Understand a while back, he is one of my favourite producers, and that is one of my favourite songs. One thing I really like about his music is his work with percussion, the guy is great at it. So recently it hit me, "How does he get such a consistent but variating groove in his drums?" So I watched the video again, and I saw his drums laid out in the playlist. So I gave it a go, and it really helped, as you can tell by the examples.
Ooh I actually meant to watch that video but never got around to it. Now is the perfect time since all I'm doing is trolling these forums anyway.
