Finished Tracks / Electro remix of deadmau5 ft. Grabbitz - Let Go
« on: February 08, 2017, 01:54:56 pm »
Hey everybody! I commit to this version of the track, it starts minimal and works its way into a hard mau5trap type of electro. Looking for critical feedback, I really want to get better and I know people in here have great ears, so don't be shy and let me have it haha

Not quite sure what genre this would fall into but it doesn't really matter. Leave some feedback!

Hey everybody, I'm a producer, pianist and current music technology student and was hoping to get some feedback on a track I finished last week! It means a lot to hear back from people!

I dig it! only thing i would say is its a little squashed, I feel like the mix is really good its just pressed together too hard. Nice track overall man!

Thanks man! Yea I was really trying to capture the nasty/gritty, dark song style of rezz with the latest one. I just feel it doesn't flow quite as well as I would like.

Sounds like a tropical house song. Nice melody. Piano sounds pretty good but the reverb kind of sounds odd. I'm nitpicking cause everything else seems good to me :)

The drops pretty cool, I like the main sound you use in it. Also sub bass is doing some interesting things. I dig it.

If you are using serum, (using a saw wave) make a pluck with the envelope, then go to your FX and use the downsampler option on the distortion. I usually use "pre" and tweak the filter. Also, the drive knob is what gives it a different tone. Really easy sound to make if you are using serum. You can add whatever else to make it sound cooler and such, but this is the basic idea.

Worked hard on getting this one to sound good, I realize it doesn't change very much but that's kind of how I liked it to be.
