WIPs / Re: New track not sure the genre. Feedback appreciated!

Haha, thank you for the feedback! I'll work on this more, and I'll definitely add a sub-bass with the side chain. I haven't really focused on making a particular genre, everything I make sounds different, and probably the last thing I was going for was vaporwave. That was an accident.  :)

WIPs / New track not sure the genre. Feedback appreciated!

So I'm still new to producing and I made this rough draft. When I first started I wasn't aiming for a particular genre but I know it's some sort of house track.

Do the instruments blend well together? I was thinking about changing some of the synthesizer sounds but unsure of which ones to change. Does the track progress well? Does the last fill near the end of the song fit? How do I keep the energy throughout the song consistent? Anything I should try to add? Is the project not worth continuing? Is the melody too repetitive? What genre is it exactly...?

Any feedback is appreciated! Don't be afraid to be harsh either, I can take it.  ;D

First listen through and you had my attention all-throughout. You could try variation in the bassline or the chords, changing it up a little. Introduce a melody in a couple of different spots. I thought it sounded good so far though.

Hey!

So off your Dance Demo I definitely liked the melody and the sound. The FX are well placed as far as I can tell and the intro sounds good. The first stutter/glitch type of buildup sounds good, but I feel like it's a bit too long, it could be cleaned up a little and shortened and I think that it would sound better if you could stop it at 1:06ish, and then the drop. As for the drop it feels like it's a different song altogether haha. I wasn't expecting that bigroom type of drop. I liked the drop but the combination sounded weird altogether. The swoosh was too long after the drop, needs a little variation to spice it up.

I'm still a new producer (5 months in) so take all of this with a grain of salt haha, good luck man keep going.
