Hey I have a pair of studio monitors and wanted to connect them to my pc as I dont have an external audio interface. Should I go for 2 xlr cables to a mini jack? Or rather stay with mini jacks connected to them?(they come with mini jack cables). Will it be worth it to spend on some XLR balanced cables?

Hey, I dont know whether I should post this here  or in other topic but I am kind of frustrated with something.Im working on a track and when the song starts it sounds alright, the only thing is that sometimes in some beats it clips. I have made some testing in my track and found out that the part that clips are the layers of the lead sound. What should i do/ change so it doesnt clip?

Also I am confused with something: I use fl studio and in the mixing part where i got the kick lead,etc all of them are below the 0 thing so it doesnt clip but the one with the general sound is over the 0. Why does it go over if the others arent?
