My last post on here was about trying to work with vocalists and I got some great advice and feedback. However, I still am no closer to finishing my tracks that need vocals so I though I'd go down the Porter/Madeon route and maybe try my own. I'm not the best singer in the world but I can get by, and with production I might be able to turn it into something decent.
I'm finding it really hard to write lyrics, and even if I get something nice, I still can't think of melodies that I think are engaging or anthemic enough. I'm trying to make my music quite catchy and anthemic in terms of repeatable, simplistic choruses and more depth in the verses.
Does anyone have any advice on songwriting lyrically?
