I'm really confused recently. idk which pairs of monitors buy. I've been in my local music store more than week ago and i've only listened yamahas hs 5,7 and rokits 5 and 6 unfortunately in the town when i was going more than 150 km's weren't any pair of jbl's . From what i've listened i know the yamahas don't appealed in my taste(bost near 1000 hz), krk sounded better than yamahas to me but they have really high bass boost and from I know studio monitors should be as flat as possible which krk's don't give in 100 %. And from what i've heard jbl's are rather something between krk's and yamaha's sonicly but I haven't heard them. Btw krk's had really that puch which i like. My room is something 16/16,5 m2 but i don't have any acoustic treatment and from that reason i'm worry about 8-inch woofer from jbl-s 308 but 5-inch seems to quite small compared to my room and 6-inch woofer from krk should be a sweet spot for my room. But at the end of the day i can't decide which choose....
