Thanks for replying! I just jumped into this song with no real idea musically of what I'd like to make but the chord progression came out alright. I might have over done it with the compression on the kick, I was feeling adventurous lulz. I'll definitely add another synth preferably one with more movement, maybe even a melody should my creativity be generous enough to allow me to do so. As for the sidechain compression I will lighten up a bit but for the most part that's the sound I was aiming to achieve. I'm definitely gonna work on it again soon and post a follow up.

Any one have any good kick samples they're willing to share? I've been digging through Fl Studio's stock sample library for sometime and can admit it gets boring on occasion. Once again anything will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
