Composition/Arrangement/Theory / What's your favorite type of natural sounding riser?

I'm not talking about your average fake, electronic-sounding white noise risers or anything of the like. I want to know your favorite ways to bring your track up right before some sort of climax happens. Something unorthodox. I like really natural, foley sounding ones.

very good stereo effects you've got going, I love it. Also love the general ambience of the song; you can practically "see" the song. It really paints a mental image for me. Only advice i have is to pretty much just do the obvious; improve the mix, mess around with more/different drum samples, and maybe add some more variation to the drums as well. Nice work

Haha thank you. I'm glad you like it. I suspect that my biggest problem with the song is that I've heard it soooo many times that i'm just not hearing improvement when i work on it. Also that my perfectionist, "i-wanna-be-as-good-as-the-pros" side of me is a little heavy. Thanks for feedback!

I have been working on this project for a frustrating amount of time and i still feel like i'm getting no where with it. And I've listened to it so much that i'm a little ear blind and have a hard time hearing mistakes or things to improve on. Be as brutal as you need, as long as it's necessary, i just want this badboy finished
