Finished Tracks / Experimented a bit on this one, not sure if it worked! Any feedback appreciated

So I tried a couple of modulations but I'm not sure if they worked :/

Does it sound like I tried to fit too many different ideas in? Does the second drop sound to detached from the rest of the track?

Also any thoughts on the mix/master appreciated too!

Thanks man, I was going for a sort of ambient feel in between the drops but yeah I might have went a bit overboard with the emptiness  ;D I see what you mean about the shaker, but I purposely didn't try a cymbal in this track to add to the chill-ness  8)
