Thank you very much for the feedback! I'll take a look and try smoothing them up. I knew of a few areas I wanted to smoothen but I wasn't aware of the clip/feedback since I haven't used my headphones yet to mix things. Thank you for letting me know man!

May I ask at which area or instance that it clips at? Just so I know where at since I used a few different layers of a kick then an 808 I made in serum with an attack delay. Thank you for the feedback Bear!

Even with using Complex or Complex pro?

I'd say EQ out what you want then duplicate the track, pan one left, pan one right and have a track delay on one of them at around 12ms.

Hey guys! This is my first time posting here on the forums and I would love to get some feedback on what I have so far.
I know of a couple spots I may want to smoothen up a bit but I'm open for suggestions! :)
Also if your confused on why it says DEUCEZ, it's actually my duo project I started with a DJ buddy, I'm the producer.

For some reason the link isn't coming up on the player.

If you would not like to DL the MP3 here is the private link: https://soundcloud.com/itschrisblake/soulja-boy-bird-walk-deucez-remix-wip/s-Rm4j8

Hey Sean, great quality production man! The only thing I am hearing is the drop could maybe use a top line or maybe even some type of filling FX like a white noise or my personal favorite, using a vocal chop at 1/8th timing but the length of a 1/16th note at the root note of the key, fading both edges of the vocal chop to smooth the edges and using a ton of reverb on it to give it a nice almost chant type of feel then use sidechain on it at either 1/4th or 1/8th depending on the way you'd want someone to groove to your track. Personally I also leave those FX usually really low volume wise just to fill the spaces and not overwhelm your synths.

Other than filling in the space, solid track Sean! Good luck with your productions! - Chris Blake

Hey EMWYE,

First off, solid production! Absolutely love the chord progressions and the fine attention to detail on the filtering through out the different layers of chords that I hear. The percussion and drums throughout the song also sit very nice within the mix which are making love to that sidechain! Really dig the chord progression changes through out the song which gives it a really nice feeling of flowing through the song instead of listening to the same eight bar progression. Definitely can't hold myself back from asking if you've ever taken any theory? The suspensions are perfectly executed!

Honestly man I  actually would gladly love to do some remix work on this if applicable!

Good luck on your productions and thank you for sharing a sick tune man! You also definitely deserved the follow man! - Chris Blake

Hey Armani,

I hear more of a darker vibe with the bass lines you have come in through out the track.
I heard a solid foundation of ideas. It does sound like you could use some sidechain to get your bass and synths to pump a bit. If your not familiar with sidechain compression it's definitely something worth looking into.
I'm not sure what DAW your using but I would look into using Nicky Romero's "Kickstart" VST Plugin to "Sidechain" ($15)
Your bass-lines, synths Etc. So your kicks and snares can shine through a bit more and give your tracks a nice pumping feel.
This is also my first time using this site but if you ever have any questions or would like an example of sidechain feel free to personally message me.

Best of luck with your productions Armani! - Chris Blake
