Hey !
Sorry for sending this late, but thank you so much for the positive comments

It's quite a relief to know that I am getting positive feedback after working on this track for such a long time and balancing exam preparations at school as well(They're finished now, so a big hooray for me

)
I found your initial comment about the kick at the very beginning of the track to be quite helpful on making the kick itself more "tropical house-ish", so thank you very much for that suggestion ! However, the kick does feel a bit more empty in terms of bass at the beginning of the track, so I don't really know whether I should be cutting off the 40khz to 80-100 hz. Perhaps 70-80 hz might do it, but at the moment, i don't really know whether the track needs to have bass at the very beginning. Likewise, I agree with the reverb on the clap that comes in every second kick, so i put that down and also automated the timbourine for it's reverb as well, but very slightly.
I also messed around with the high end of the piano(the piano is actually a layer of two pianos which had both the low and high frequencies, so it was relatively easy to bring up the high frequencies a bit more. I also followed your suggestions concerning the flute melody(again contains 2-3 layers) and achieved pretty cool results.
The subbass at the drop was actually an error of my own, as I had lowered the volume too much, thus having a somewhat empty drop because of the lack of bass. I am not sure what you meant by snares at the drop though, as I didn't use any snares at the drop(perhaps you are referring to the snap, which indeed is a bit too quiet, so i just increased the volume as none of my other snaps seem to fit in with the track as a whole). And finally, I used automation clips to deal with the reverb for the second set of vocal chops. I do agree that it's a bit cheesy, but it is the cheesiness of that chop that I really like in my track
Anyways, thank you once again for the suggestions and positive vibes ! I shall post the updated version of this track in a new post when i'm done with my final touches.
Cheers !
