Finished Tracks / Re: Madonna - Frozen (Zero Clash Remix)

i like but idk if it just me but the vocal gets too loud at times? like during the i could melt your heart bit it felt like it was punching me in the face. The drums on point though

Hey  thanks.
it could be because of the vox is taken from original at some places. You Know, with Strings behind it, so compressor worked different.

Alright-- here's my best attempt at going after that sound.. using a lot of compression and using a lot of saturation.

It's hard to think about what instruments deserve cabinet and which ones dont and which to make wider and which to keep narrow

sounds really great man. I mean idea, atmosphere, sounds.
But is this distortion on the whole mix you wanted? For me it sounds like you overvolume your mix..

I'm glad to show you my track with Shifterz called RAVEWOOD.
It has supported by Dannic , Flash Finger and many more!
Would be great to hear your thought on this one

Mixing/Mastering / Re: How the hell did he make that bass so fat?
« on: July 09, 2016, 03:39:16 pm »
Sounds like typical psy-trance bass :D
And on the bass there are maybe some distortion plugins, like an iZotope trash. Pre-filter cuts highs and boosts a lot of mids, after it routed to "trash" which responds on mids, but try not to overboost because you get some "acid" sounds.

Sorry for my bad english, i'm from non english-speaking country :D

yea, and seems like these guys turned up around 150-200 hz to make it REAL LOUD. ;)

Well, all synth sounds in sample packs are from any plugin, and sometimes it's just untweaked presets :-D This is how it works  :-\

Hi guys.
I wonder is there a list of samples in genres above that you will recommend and all must have it?  Or tell what are you using?

I prefer to use something with no trap title. I mean I use DnB packs, house packs, trance packs. To make it interesting :) But just interesting what are you using in this styles? :)

Thank you! :)

Mixing/Mastering / Re: Layering a snare over a kick. Mix help
« on: March 04, 2016, 04:23:50 pm »
Phase inversion also does wonders!

you opened my eyes. :-D

Also I suggest to try a time mixing. I mean you put snare earlier on 15ms before the kick, or after. It's more used in clap mixing. But with snares sometimes it helps too.

Mixing/Mastering / Re: Equalization Of Lead Layers
« on: March 04, 2016, 04:12:49 pm »
Nice advices above.
All depend of sounds you put in Lead group, but here's tips I always do.
First of all I load Glue compressor on Lead group to connect them as one.
When I EQ my Lead group, I always cut lows (below 150hz), do little shelf to low something near 500hz. Then look at 4-7khz. I put down those freq a little because on stages these frequencies  stick out a lil bit. About highs there's options, because if you have white noise, there's no need a eq.  White noise gives all nice high freqs for leads.
After you can use C4 (for example) to control all these freq.
Some of your lead must be in center (not full center), and other can be a lil bit wider for make it huge :)
It's all depends on how you hear your leads and how you want them to hear. Your ears are the best judges to know that leads sounds okay :)

My process can be totally wrong, but I use this.

Sorry for English :)

Mixing/Mastering / Re: Spectral Analyzing or How to?
« on: February 05, 2016, 05:47:16 pm »
Thanks Bertie & Farley.  yea, I think i have some not checked sounds there on lows.
Bad thing that I can't listen my track on good monitors to check how it sounds. Only headphones. But I think i can check lows  with Lowpassing to 150hz on master  and listen only all below.

Thank you guys! Will rely on my ears next time!

Mixing/Mastering / Spectral Analyzing or How to?
« on: February 05, 2016, 09:35:41 am »
Hi guys.
I have a question about spectral analyzing tracks. I have a kind future bass tune, and one of my friends says there's not enough subs in the track. I took Ableton's Spectrum and I think even it shows a nice graphic.
Here's track with private link: https://soundcloud.com/sensiofficial/royal-flash/s-mFJC2
And here's screenshot of my analyzer. There's playing everything good on the lows (I think), all below 20hz I cutted with 12db high pass:

What you think?  :)

Thank for your time!
