I really liked candy! Maybe some of the sidechaining is a little overdone though..

I try not to care too much for people who only want to put me down or don't like my music.  I can't expect myself to be just as good as the producers that everyone is used to hearing.  What motivates me is that hopefully someone out there will really enjoy my music and will get something out of it and maybe make someone's day a little better.  Even if it's just one person.

I'd make sure to use a low pass filter on the bass, and a high pass filter on the sound you want to layer over it. If you've already done that then I'm not sure how to help. Maybe make sure that there's not too much dissonance between the melodies of the bass and the samples.

I really, really like this, especially the way the bass comes in around 0:55. I actually really like how it's kinda simple too, not too much to distraction. This would sound really good with some more vocals too.

Just a fun relaxing genre mish mash thing I've been working on, trying to go for a sort of tropical vibe!
