Wow! I would have never thought of any of those things by myself! I'll make sure to put all of those things in mind! Especially after adding the vocals (the only thing that's missing before doing the fine-tuning :o )

- A chord structure

I have been a lover of single-note instruments since I started producing, but you have a point. I'm sure it's time to start working with chords. I'll see what works.

- More interesting melodies

Yeah the same melody's pretty boring when played over and over. Vocals may fix that, but I'll see if I can spice up the boring parts, especially when the song just starts.

- Definitelly a lot less distortion

Now I'm not sure what you meant, but it could mean the main instrument sounds too hard (power waves am I right?) or the amplifier I placed into the sub is messing with everything else. I'll see what I can do.

- Some cross-fx like build ups or noise effects or something

No problem!

Thanks again for the feedback. It has been very valuable owo-b

Usually I just open up my DAW and... put some form of chord progression down. Everything just goes up from there. You can also start with a beat, but that's harder.

Nitro Fun. He's a big inspiration for my current style  ;D

Here's a song that I have been working on for the past day or so.

I would like for you guys to have any opinions on it. Don't sugarcoat it. Make it real smoky. The feedback will make this song so much better.

Things that will be done:
- Vocals (with vocoder!)

On the version with sausagefattener, I honestly feel that the breakdown is too empty without the vocal chops. Bring them back. Other than that, this version is very close to being finished! Great job!

Samples/Plugins/Software/Gear / Does anyone use ZynAddSubFX?

For those who don't know what it is and want to try it out: Here's the SourgeForge page: http://zynaddsubfx.sourceforge.net/

For those who have used it: How do you use it and how would you rate it?

I really can't give more detailed feedback, but I do have two things to say:

Firstly, make the drop harder.

The breakdown sounds harder than the drop, and that's a problem considering that most Moombah (both the Moombahcore and Moombahton variant) songs have a drop that makes you feel like your subwoofer will blow up any minute. Bring the volume up and add some more energy into the instruments. Just don't make it too cluttered, since that will ruin the song.

Secondly, variate the sounds

You can easily change the genre of the second drop into something else entirely. Try going for something Trap-like there. It will sound good and feel good on a lot of headphones. Who knows you might become the next Aero Chord.

That's all I really have for suggestions. Everything else is magnificently done. Even the vocal chops! I will really look forward to listening to the complete song if you decide to finish it :)

I absolutely adore this song! I love it when people experiment with a genre. And you sir, are doing this experiment correctly.

As for name suggestions... I would name this track "Out There", since it feels like something that would play when you'e searching for something.

Once again, you're doing an amazing job! Keep up the good work!  ;)
