TPF Beat Cypher
Good evening, everyone! Our Beat Cypher is now resuming, we had some difficulty keeping this going because many of us were swamped with other work. So without further ado, post in the thread below if you wish to join this weeks Cypher. Download the samples, follow the simple rules posted below, and spend the next 9 days working on a 1 minute beat. Private message me (Aric_James) with a download link to your beat by Saturday, October 15th at midnight Pacific Time (UTC -8:00). The Cypher will be posted in this thread Sunday morning!
THE RULES
WARNING: Please use either soundcloud (with downloads enabled), dropbox, or google drive to get me the file (Do not use Clyp). If you do not adhere to this rule, your submission will not be accepted!
If you're unsure of how the beat cypher works, here's an article describing it, a video that touches on it, and lastly here is the latest Team Supreme cypher, so you can hear how they did it:
Here’s last week’s TPF cypher:
Now, onto the fun part! This Week's Challenge:
Sample 1: https://clyp.it/4s3ai1ri
Sample 2: https://clyp.it/5srcmar4
You do not have to use the entire acapella. Use the whole thing, one phrase, or just a vocal chop, doesn't matter what you do as long as you use it.
Our tempo is 90 Beats Per Minute, so you need to write about 24 bars of music to complete this week's challenge.
Challenge starts now, so get to beatmaking!
