The low end of your mix is the first thing to get limited, if you're doing a lot of limting and compression try removing some from individual channels. Unless you provide us with some info on your master bus it's hard to give relevant tips.

Clipping on the master is common in EDM mastering but is not usually mentioned. I recently discovered KClip which is a revolutionary plugin, i recommend checking it out.

I use a lot of diffrent reverbsfor various stuff. Typically the lexicon plate reverb for drums and percussion, Valhalla Shimmer & Vintageverb for pads and atmospheric sounds and vallhalla room for plucks and leads. Sometimes i might go for the fruity reverb for it's distinct character.
