Not your traditional delay here, takes grains from the input and creatively processes them back out depending on what you specify. Really fun for making textural stuff imo

The plugins on this page look like things i would love to tinker with

Delay has so far been the most exciting effect i have used. It can be used creatively in various ways to create variance in a track. I would love to know which delay plugins you use that are free

I'll start, i use ljkb Pitched Delay which was an entry in KVRs Developer Contest 2012  8)

Molot compressor by vladg is also very good especially of busses since it is resource intensive

Whoa there buddy, relax on the font size.

No, I don't agree. I really hope this stays a "old school" forum where the things which deserve publicity get's publicity through replies on the topic and where you have to actually put in some effort to get the information which you want. I'm sick of all the "lay back, never activate your brain" stuff which is all over the internet, but that's just me.

And then it would be very bias and kind of unfair to a lot of threads. Say 95% of all the threads holds excelent quality, then only 1 of those threads get publicity, or get a much higher amount of publicity. Feels unfair somehow, but that's just my silly oldschool bitter opinions.

i don't agree with this completely because we have had the old school approach to forums and it works in most ways but it lacks in content discovery. The front page thing might not be the best thing but i think that a side bar with the most recent threads or most active threads in the past two hours in every forum could be good. so that one can log in and directly find something to contribute to or read

Some times you may need to refer a certain response to a specific user and it would be cool if the user can be mentioned and see the specific replies on his profile to easily keep up with activity here.

since you are using smf you can check out this plugin and test if it works

nothing stops half arsed feedback though... 'yeah, i like 0:30, really cool track man!'

Its all half arsed feedback (and it will continue to be so) because most of the people do not know what they are supposed to be listening for. Most people here have consumer taste in music and no deep understanding of music production and only make music hoping to be the next Tiesto.

Do share the books, videos, webpages, websites that you used and helped you to learn especially music theory. would like to learn music theory before i continue with this music production journey. Preference to free resources
