This is hella

My only reco is to use some sort of modulation on the snare, or swap it with another one every 2/4/8 bars. Hearts is right about it being tough on the ears.

Otherwise this is super rad

Your sounds sound good on their own, but the mixdown needs some work.

If this forum was more than a few hours post-release, I would recommend hanging out in the mix/master section - however, this is not the case, so I'll try to help as much as I can.

First- play with the mixer volumes of everything instrument. Just adjusting the levels can make drastic changes in a track's sound and feel.

Next - try group processing. Buss multiple, similar-sounding instruments or samples together and process them as one signal (compress, distort, EQ, saturate, sidechain, etc.)

After that, just put saturation or warming on the master buss (i really recommend PSP's VintageWarmer as it has some great presets but YMMV) and push it 1-2dB through a limiter.

Hope that helps!

I dig this.

serious 2012 vibes in a good way

hits it on the head. If you told me this was an unreleased Mord Fustang track I probably wouldn't think twice.

That being said, there's always room for improvement- the only thing I noticed on first listen were some interesting chord choices in the breakdowns, which might take away from the overall energy of the track. Not a critical issue though.
