I feel like their biggest achievement is that they make everything sound so clean, big and simple that you think, hey I can make this but then you try and its like no, no you cant.

Thanks again guys, I'll see if I can throw in a different drum pattern for the break part, I see what you guys are saying. I've tried beefing it up a bit but I think theres still a disconnect. Ill rest my ears and have another go tomorrow

Really enjoyed this one guys, I can totally hear the influence haha its great. Very well produced track, the only commentary I have is that the big 2nd break arp and its surrounding elements are sort of fighting with the vocal for the listeners attention but you did hit a nice compromise there and it was a bold move which I like a lot. Drops are really well mixed, congrats guys try to get this one out there, people will love it!

Yeah youre right, im gonna change that fill around. This one came together fairly quickly, I got the drop idea a week ago, the meat of the track came together in 3-4 days and ive been slowly mixing it since

Thanks guys!

@submelodic- The arcade samples come from youtube, drums from all sorts of different places. The break drums are a couple loops from DnB packs that I cut up.

Hey guys, I wanted to do something fun and different so I made this arcade-y style prog song. I wanted it to sound like it could fit right into Mario Kart and I think its turning out alright. Im only just starting the mixing process so theres still a lot of polishing to do but id love to know what you guys think of the general idea and the mix so far.

Edit: Intro and outtro are still really rough

Hey guys so I've been watching "SynthHackers" videos for the last few days and i figured we could make a thread to compile our favorite youtube sound designers. Heres the link to this guys videos, all of his sounds are great and im learning a bunch just watching and creating the sounds as he goes along. Whether youre looking to create your own unique sounds or just take your presets to the next level, this guys videos can help a bunch. Heres the link:

ArtFX (https://www.youtube.com/user/ARTFXSTUDIOS/videos) is another guy to keep an eye on.

Hey Justin quick question, ive always had trouble using GTi on my supersaws, I feel like it always cuts the lows and boosts the mids in strange ways when I use it, are there any specific parameters or presets that you would recommend to get me started?

Pretty cool idea man, im a huge fan of complextro and wish more people would go for it. Theres definitely plenty of material here to stretch out to a full track if youd like, everything works well together and i like how you slow it down, sounds sick.
