Tons of chain processing, but I often use Harmor, Harmless, 3xOSC and WASP. Image-Line's stock synths are seriously fantastic and super capable. They definitely cannot do the same sort of thing as Massive or FM8, but they have their own sound and personality that can be utilized really well.

Ableton has a "Hip Hop Sub Bass" preset which I've found is heavy as hell. Great for getting a good pump in your song, if you set the decay right.

Native Instruments' Replika
Kjaerhus Classic Chorus

both of these have such a rich sound, I use them all the time!

For synths, my secret weapons are the ones by Tweakbench, especially Pippo.

Using FM8, but NOT for growl bass sounds :P
I've found FM8 is great for ambient sounds, but does sacrifice some CPU in the process haha

For my main riser bus on buildups, I'll automate in some of Bass Kleph's Washed Out ableton rack to give more tension and fill up the stereo field

Addictive drums(usually with the overhead and room pickup muted + octaverb from guitar rig+gate+roughrider comp=massive jungle breaks.

Fabfilter timeless on stretch algorithm, with automation on delay time self made preset on synth for detuned synths.

Synthplant for insane glitches.

Multiple fm8 basses for huge basslines.

Things that are in every single one of my productions or mixdowns:
Synths:
Big fan of the korg legacy collection - particularly the M1 and the monopoly.
Enjoy using REV for some random atmospheric stuff.
MiniV is a beast
DIVA - absolute winner!! however it chews up CPU

Processing plugins:
Anything by Fab filter - EQ, compressor, timeless, Saturn -  only one I haven't got is the Pro-MB but will get it eventually.
LFO tool or kickstart for sidechains.
one plugin I use allllll the time is Oxford Dynamics plugin for the compressor and limiter compatibility - amazing to tame peaks when creating cutoff automations.
Izotope Ozone for sure. Even use it on independent channels.

oh and also the Oxford limiter is my go to limiter and the Oxford inflator is a nifty little tool to make sounds more present in the mix.
