Hey guys!  My name is Allen Schroeder.  I live in Dallas, Texas USA.  I'm 40 years old and have been involved in music production most of my adult life.  Unfortunately, I took a hiatus from production for 5 years, as more pressing life issues took time from the music.  However, fortunate circumstances allowed me to rebuild my studio and resume writing and producing.  My main EDM subgenre is deep house, as it suits my personality and life experience, as well as this stage in my life.  I look forward to getting to know everyone here. BTW, I'm not sure if Im posting this in the correct thread.  I really haven't used message boards in the past, so excuse my inexperience :D

Now THAT's what I love to see! Nothing against "hey, I'm 16 and I'm a producer, look at me" kinda posts, but I have a little bit more respect for stories like this, sir! :) Life's a bitch and it's so easy (and sometimes liberating, let's face it) to just throw dreams away. To see someone not give up like that is always a f*cking breath of fresh air. :)

Welcome Allan! :) We had a few introductionary threads here, yeah, but screw it. I'm not a mod, but I think it's ok like this too.
I'd be thrilled to check some of your music when you have some fresh tunes ready! :)
