So here's a track I did with my friend who sings. I tried experimenting with a couple things in this.

Very cool idea! I especially liked that first "drop". My only problem I have with it is the pause at 1:23 seems a little too long. But other than that, I really dig it so far and I'm looking forward to the finished product!

The pause at 1:23 is more of a trance inspired element. A stylistic choice. It's not a bad one, it just could use some more flavor over that time to not make it feel like nothing is going on. Move more transients, make it a more gradual climb, etc.

Track is pretty good on a production level, well done! Is there anything specifically you were looking for feedback with?

Understood. I'm not very familiar with trance, so excuse my ignorance. But I do agree with you, adding something to that pause would improve it.

first of all big up cause the track is rly nice ! i dont have much to say a part from the pause that sounds too empty for my taste as everyone mentioned it. but i guess its just a taste thing. i would have personally use more ambience/atmosphere samples at a very low db and a little reverb automation at the end of the vocal.
the track is rly nice overall good one dude !

Nice track, loving the melodies. I'd do a tiny little cut in her voice around 1k. Also something sounds odd about the reverb, isn't that a plate reverb? Or may be there's just too much of it on her voice. Dunno. Also feels to me like the highend is bit too strong, the hihats hurt a little on my speakers.

But that's just details. Definitely a great job from both of ya!
