Summer house-ish?
« on: May 03, 2017, 08:09:27 pm »
Today I completed the layout for my new house song. It is not completed, but it has a beginning and an end. I am pretty satisfied with the plucks after I discovered an awesome new plugin :)

Let me know what you think

PS - If anyone knows how to insert the YouTube video right on here rather than linking, I would appreciate some help with that

Hey man!

The Idea is really great! The only thing i'd recommend is to add a little change to the main melody and add some variation in the first minute of the track but it's good man! Keep up the good work!

Not bad for a first track at all. :) You got good grip of layering and buildups. I agree with JAFARi, some variation might help. ...buit havbing said that, listen to any Avicii/Calvin Harris track ever and you find out they are not into heavy variations either. :D ...but that doesn't make it right either. Anyway! ... I'd work on a kick and bass. You're not overdoing the bass which is good, but the kick feels too mid-rangey and I think overall kick and bass could fit into themselves a bit more. Also these huge synth layers could use bit more reverb I guess. But still pretty solid start! :)
"Earth is round right? Look at it from right angle and you'll be always on top of the world."
...but don't overdo it, because that's called being a d***k.
